Antioxidant activity of Apocynin and its derivative AP4

在中药胡黄连活性成分胡黄连素的基础上,进行结构修饰和活性筛选,得到Apocynin衍生物AP4.通过化学抗氧化模型,以及细胞实验初步验证AP4抗氧化活性明显优于Apocynin.最终获得活性更强的NADPH氧化酶抑制剂. For obtaining a more effective NADPH oxidase inhibitor from Apocynin, an active component from Chinese medicine picrorhiza kutkin, the structural modification and activity-screening were used in this study. The anti-oxidative activity of Apocynin and its analogues on the basis of the TBARS were tested, and it was proved to be effective. The new compounds were found to be potent inhibitors of the NADPH oxidase whose expression was stimulated by polymorphonuclear leucocytes (PMN) treated with opsonized zymosan (OZ) in 10—10 μM. Thus, AP4 was a more effective antioxidant than Apocynin.
